We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our Humanities Department
We seek to appoint an outstanding teacher to further develop our Humanities department. The successful applicant will be instrumental in supporting departmental improvement, student intervention programmes and contributing to our wide ranging transition projects. This post would be ideal for either an experienced practitioner or a more recently qualified teacher. You will support the leadership of a successful, collaborative team; benefit from a strong team ethos and develop further the year on year improvements at both key stages.
As an outstanding teacher you will be given the opportunity to develop the teaching and learning practice of your colleagues across the school through our innovative and highly personalised CPD provision.
Urban Learning actively recruit for Secondary schools and Academies across London and the home counties, we have a constant requirement for Humanities Teachers to teach across KS3/4 classes along with A Level teaching.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS)
- Relevant classroom experience
- Sound Curriculum knowledge
- Committed to securing high levels of progress, achievement for students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS
