- Due to a recent Framework win, Urban Learning are please to be supporting schools in Wales.
We are therefore working with a Secondary School in Denbighshire who are looking to appoint a ICT Technician / Supportstaff for an immediate start.
Job Title of the temporary position: ICT Technician / Support Pay Rate (per day / hour): £9.36 per hour Start Date: Soon as possible Anticipated end date: We are entering into an unknown period with our ICT provision. We are looking at different options and aiming to build capacity in the school’s ICT support team.
In terms of anticipated end date and working pattern, this could be a very short-term assignment or with the right candidate could be something that lasts weeks or maybe months.
We are flexible with working hours dependent on the appropriateness of any prospective candidates.

Are CVs req’d? YES any additional information The ability to speak Welsh is essential
The school would require to do a DBS risk assessment as any prospective worker would not have a DBS through the Local Authority.Brief overview of School’s expectations of the role (lesson planning, marking etc) Work alongside and under the supervision of the school ICT Manager and respond to internal ICT helpdesk requests as appropriate.
Good general ICT skills and flexibile approach to work needed. Training will be provided for more schools specific systems as appropriate.
