Our School is a school for young people aged 9-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in, SW London, we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.
We are looking for a temporary full-time Teacher of Mathematics to cover a maternity leave, starting 3.9.18. You will work alongside another outstanding and experienced Maths Teacher and are likely to gain significant experience of supporting young people with a variety of SEN with a range of ability from moderate learning difficulties up to gifted and talented in Maths (for example, we have two A level Maths students in 2018-19).
This professional will be expected to deliver outstanding teaching and learning with support from an LSA.
Some experience of teaching or supporting students with a diagnosis of high functioning autism is preferred; NQTs are welcome to apply
