- We are currently looking to recruit a Teacher of Psychology and Sociology for an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Catholic School in Redbridge. *Please note this is a temp post from January 2019*
The Psychology Department has been established at this school for 23 years and the subject is taught at as both a GCSE and an A-Level course. Students can choose the subject from the regular option choices at the end of Year 9 or as an extracurricular class after school.
The latter provides an opportunity for Gifted and Talented students to extend their education and introduces a subject which can only enhance their understanding of the learning process and the management of each student’s individual learning strategies.
They have 60 students at present studying the AQA GCSE course. In Years 12 and 13 students are offered the 2 year linear AQA A Level Psychology Specification or the 2 year linear AQA Psychology specification. The subject is very popular and successful with over 120 students at present. Examination results are consistently very good/outstanding.

Requirements:
