Description:
This is a 1-year maternity cover contract, you will be required to teach Geography from KS3 right through to KS5. The Geography Teacher will need to have strong subject knowledge with strong classroom and behaviour management. This is an outstanding mainstream secondary school that caters to 1850 students aged 11-18. This school is a short walk from local public transport links but also has parking on site. In most recent GCSE Geography exams 77% of students achieved A*- C grades, so the Geography Teacher will need to help maintain the high level of success and try to improve the results in the near future.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS)
- Relevant classroom experience
- Sound Curriculum knowledge
- Committed to securing high levels of progress, achievement for students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Enhanced DBS
