Lead Teacher for Dance TLR2c - £2,721
Required September 2019 Maternity cover – 1 Year contract in the first instance
Dance at our school is outstanding both within and outside of the curriculum. The students, of all abilities, are dedicated, committed and passionate about dance and it is exceptionally popular at all key stages
We require someone who can deliver dance at examination level up to KS5, but also has the passion and devotion to the subject to continue the outstanding work our department completes outside of the formal school day. We are looking for someone who believes in building strong relationships with students and is willing to go the extra mile to support them in being successful both in and outside of school. You would be expected to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences to all students across all key stages.
Urban Learning actively recruit for Secondary schools and Academies across London and the home counties, we have a constant requirement for Dance Teachers to teach across KS3/4 classes along with A Level teaching.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS)
- Relevant classroom experience
- Sound Curriculum knowledge
- Committed to securing high levels of progress, achievement for students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS
