- Due to a recent Framework win, Urban Learning are please to be supporting schools in Wales.
We are therefore working with a Secondary School in Denbighshire who are looking to appoint a Caretaker / Sit Support for an immediate start.
Job Title of the temporary position: Caretaker / Site support Pay Rate (per day / hour): £9.36 per hour Start Date: Soon as possible Anticipated end date: Cover sickness / operation (at least until end of October I would imagine Working Pattern: We are flexible, anywhere between 3 – 6 hours support every day anytime between 0900 – 1700 (Start/finish times) Qualifications required: No formal qualifications Training or skills required: No formal training or skills required
Manual handling and general health and safety in the workplace would be usefulAre CVs req’d? YES any additional information The ability to speak Welsh is not essential
The school would require to do a DBS risk assesment as any prospective worker would not have a DBS through the Local Authority.Brief overview of School’s expectations of the role (lesson planning, marking etc) General duties
- Daily litter picking
- Checking and re-filling toilet rolls and soaps in dispensers across the school
- Moving items / deliveries around the school
- General caretaking duties
